Desktop application development

Some work belongs on the desktop: billing counters, design and engineering tools, data-heavy analysis, or software that must keep running without the internet. We build reliable desktop applications with proper installers, automatic updates and fast, clear interfaces.

What is included

Cross-platform apps

Electron or Tauri, with one codebase that runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Native Windows apps

.NET with WPF or WinUI when software needs deep integration with Windows.

Offline-first data

Local databases such as SQLite that keep working without internet and sync when a connection returns.

Hardware integration

Receipt printers, barcode scanners, card readers, weighing scales, and serial or USB devices.

Installers and updates

Signed installers and automatic background updates, so every machine runs the latest version.

Legacy modernisation

Rebuilding ageing VB6, Access or Delphi tools with modern interfaces, without losing your data.

Who it is for

Retail, billing and service counters
Engineering, design and data teams working with large files
Companies running ageing in-house software

How we deliver it

  1. Discover

We study your workflows, devices, operating systems and the data the software must handle.

  2. Prototype

Interactive screens for the main tasks, reviewed with the people who will use them daily.

  3. Build

Development with test builds installed on your own machines throughout the project.

  4. Deploy

Signed installers, rollout across your machines, user training and update channels.

Common questions

Electron, Tauri or native .NET?

Electron and Tauri suit apps that must run on several operating systems. Tauri produces smaller, lighter apps. Native .NET is best for Windows-only software with deep system integration.

Can the software work without internet?

Yes. We design offline-first, storing data locally and syncing to the cloud or your server when a connection is available.

Can you replace our old software?

Yes. We map what the current tool does, migrate your data, and roll out the new version so day-to-day work is not disrupted.

How are updates delivered?

Through signed automatic updates that install in the background, or through your IT team if you manage software centrally.
